A. Camphor Laurel's country of origin is China where it has always been regarded as sacred.
Q. Is Camphor Toxic?
A. Camphor is one of the constituents of black pepper.
Q. Will it flavour food?
A. The aroma will not flavour food.
Q. What type of surface is used?
A. Boards are finished with a food safe oil manufactured and blended by a company specialising in organic timber finishes.
Q. How can the surface be maintained?
A. A wipe over with any vegetable oil such as canola, sunflower or grapeseed is all that is required.
