One of the most distinctive features of many of Alison Green's designs that our customers really love is the use of an entirely different, but related image on the back of each T-shirt

e.g On the Rainbow Bee-eater T-shirt (No. 2) the bird chases the dragonfly on the front and then catches it on the back.

Some designs (e.g Gouldian Finches No.15) require up to ten overlays of colour on the front image and as many colours again for the different image on the back of the shirt.

As many colours and transparencies are used as is necessary to produce a realistic image and all the inks are meticulously mixed to be correct and true to the subject matter

Other designs draw on Alison's careful draftsmanship to depict the subject with accuracy using only one or two colours.
