Hairy-nosed Wombat

Hairy-nosed Wombats are night foraging marsupials which are powerful diggers of underground tunnels where they sleep in the heat of the day. Their backward opening pouch is designed to protect the young during digging With loss of suitable habitat the numbers of this appealing animal are diminishing rapidly. Smaller than the Common Wombat, they are so named because of the fine silky hair covering their muzzle.

Mounted Prints (Frame not included) Prints are mounted on white board with outside dimensions of 350x280mm (11x14in) which will fit a standard 11x14in picture frame. Each mounted print is packaged with a backing board and is shrink film wrapped to maintain cleanliness prior to mounting in a frame.
